In Car PC - Asus VivoPC VM40B

For any of you geeky guys that have a touchscreen headunit with HDMI, I'm selling a great bit of kit here that you will be able to use as an in-car PC. Measuring only 180mm x 180mm,it'sthe perfect bit of kit to hide under a dashboard or a chair etc, it's smaller than a CD changer :thumb2

I only have the AC mains lead for it, but they can be ran on 12v and power leads are easy to come by;

I have upgraded the HDD in this unit to a 128GB Sandisk SSD which made it super quick :naughty

Looking for £60 posted :cool:

I'm sure it's got a Windows 10 image on it that I've been using at home for web browsing and playing with maps etc, I'll have to wipe the OS from the HDD before sending out :thumb2

Drop me a PM and we'll go from there, PayPal would be my preference :thumb2

When you say you will have to wipe the os before sending out, does this mean that it will come without any os.

Kind regards

Russell.

Afraid so unless you want me to build you a crude OS with just drivers and then you can do what you want with it then out the box?

Just quickly resurrect this thread, to save starting a new one. I received the mini PC from Banshee yesterday and have been having a play with it today. Have to say it is a nice bit of kit and I want to say a big thank you to Banshee, for taking the time to set it all up with the software the way he did.
My current plan is to install it into my Land Cruiser, will let you know how that go's, once I get underway.

kind regards

Russell.

Glad that you like it, and more importantly that it's fit for purpose, I've been hanging onto it for that exact type of build but I'm going a different route now, I'm just glad someone is using it for what I had in mind and not just slapping it behind a TV which it would be so easy to do.

Have you had a play with Memory Maps then? :naughty
