Bumpers

I’m after some metal bumpers for my terrano just wondering if anyone has any or knows someone who might?? I’ve seen these on eBay but I would prefer to get them off someone on here. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2ab114d7d2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5c4a0f4a65.jpg

Body or chassis, chassis is easy, wind up the front torsion bars and drop some spacers in the rear springs, body more complicated, lots of work but if you want bigger than 33 wheels probably a must, I am no expert here, plenty on here that are, Rick

Well I was thinking this as it will give me a bit more clearance as I keep fouling on rocks. [emoji23] maybe should go over smaller rocks haha

I’m thinking of going slightly bigger tyres too

Sounds like a chassis lift would be more useful then :nenau

Personally i would go for the body lift as it keeps the suspension geometry on the front end,Keeps the centre of gravity low and allows you to fit bigger tyres to give you the clearance.
remove the rear ARB for better axle articulation.
all depends on how big you want to go:nenau

Just a bit more would suffice if I get a 2 inch lift then maybe gain 1 more off of bigger tyres that would be good. What do you think of that kit I put on there will that be ok or is there a better one?

i used the xpajan one but the vitmods one looks identical.
Not sure if there is any difference in price:nenau
Only thing with the bodylift is a couple of thing to modify.
Bumper brackets need adjusting to lift them up.
Some have issues getting into low box so a bit of body trimming or bending of the transfer lever is needed.
cowl around the fan and radiator will need looking at(i just removed the lower section that clips off)
Copper brake lines at the front need stretching but they should have a coil shape formed into them which is easy to manipulate.
Some fit an extra rubber donut on the steering shaft but i never saw the need.
I'm sure i did a step by step write up on here when i did my bodylift a few years ago.will see if i can find it and stick it in a new thread for you to save cluttering up this post:thumb2

It's actually not too bad of a job once you get stuck in.
