Your post here led me to read the Alaska post from start to finish - what a great read! It made me feel like I knew rustygates and all his family!

I then also became concerned that there were no more posts for a while and went googling for news. After a while I ended up here:

I really hope he gets that off road scooter to complete the walk.

Done :thumb2

Cedwyn hasn't been here for almost a month. I have renewed his subs for another year and modified his settings so if anyone PMs him he will receive an email.... maybe he will pop in and give us an update.

Nice one Bat, sure he will really appreciate the link, but we have to realise he may not be able to respond, but I sincerely hope he can, Rick

Bigbunny2007 09-12-2013 23:23

Donation made, hope he gets the chance to read all our comments.

solarman216 09-12-2013 23:54

Sorry but I am not sure what is actually going on here, the donations to the link, go to the general MND charity, but what we need to do here is contribute to his off road wheel chair, am I not right? forgive me if I have it wrong, I am just a simple guy,Rick

Apologies if my post confused or misled anyone. My comment was just in response to this paragraph on the Just Giving page:

"Requests have been made for an off-road mobility scooter that if granted could see Cedwyn complete the walk with the team by wheel instead of foot – this would be a remarkable achievement in itself."
