.FORD MAVERICK EXTREME OFF-ROADER WITH TRAILER.
This little truck started out life as a very bog standard ford maverick
since then is has had longer springs off a lwb maverick put in, bigger 31 inch maxis mudder tyres, STILL GOT THE V5.
all of these tyres have alot of tread and are as good condition.
You have probably already noticed that the back half is missing, we cut the back off just behind the front doors, this was to save weight and also allow a roll bar,
the back of the chassis has been cut short behind the rear wheels, this gives a vertical
approach and decent angle, the fuel tank has been moved into where the rear seats foot-well were, so that it is out of the way.
A rear recovery point has been welded into the back of the cross member with plenty of bracing, there is no chance it will break.
The engine is solid as a rock and has just been serviced along with all the other fluids in the car, unfotunaly the fan belt has just snapped, but not a big job to do.
the LSD in the rear is very good and work with no strange noises.
This car would never make it back onto the road but it is a perfect small cheap off roader.
FOUND MY TRAILER (FRIEND BORROWED IT AND COULDNT REMEMBER SAYING HE COULD) BUT WILL SELL ON THE TRAILER NOW
this is a very very capable off-roader and it will be sadly missed,
Im sure that if you had the bottle to take it somewhere it would get there,
do not be fooled by the ford badge on the front.
the only problem is that there is a smashed windscreen caused by a falling branch and then thugs.
I have a set of racing bucket seats waiting to be fitted that i will include if i get the right price.
There is also a few spare radiators i aquired that will also be included.
TRAILER WAS BUILT FOR THE MAVERICK, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ANY OF THE BEARINGS, BRAKES NEED ATTACHING BUT NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, ALL WIRING IS COMPLETE AND WORKING.
HOME MADE RAMPS, WILL NOT BREAK.
