I love the bars over the front wheels that join the front bar to the sliders... Wish we could do that!

Is there some regualtions that forbid us from having these kind of designs?

I think overall width might come into play, not sure of the regs but looks likely, from my point of view as a Patrol owner I am already too wide to go places I would like, and the strength of those bars I would question, after sliding against a good tree I think they will bend far too easy, now my new to be finished rock sliders will not bend, Rick

aren't you guys limited to protrusions of 80mm from widest part of the body??

In case you ever go down the "brush rail" route - i can tell you from my own experience that the brush rails have saved this truck many times. I have hit 3 trees i can remember this year which are generally at the bottom of hills and a tight turn type scenario, i rolled the truck on its side on an off camber river bank so the truck lay on the passenger side for a good hour and i also wasn't watching while i parked and demo'd a garden wall :lol:lol They do work assuming use of a heavy wall tube, quite a common addition to OZ/NZ trucks.

cheers.

Being an old sod I'm definitely seeing the advantages of those grab rails. Nice one.
