Default Naval tea drinker! jack of all trades master of ...

Well as some of you may know i'm in the mighty Royal Navy!

Trades that i have (but of no use out side) are mine warfare, Tactical communications and seamanship (fuelling at sea, lifesaving etc)

But the stuff that can be used in the "real" world:

• MCA certified deck hand, can manufacture ropes and wires (splicing)

• MCA & RYA level 2 boat driver, FRC Boat driver, MCA safety boat driver.

• MCA sea survival instructor.

• MCA sea survival equipment maintainer and supervisor.

• IMES / lESMS certified lifting and test equipment examiner.

• IMES Slinger (load management, crane directing etc)

• IOSH Risk assessor and COSSH assessor.

• VHF long and short licence.

• GMDSS global operator licence.

• Level 2 armour.

• NVQ 2 in ROV operation and maintenance.

So in summary if you want any thing sailing (power) or rigging, slinging, testing or fancy tow ropes knocking up giz a shout, cordage is free (fell off the back of a ship...)

I also mess around with XBOX 360, but darwin’s the man for that, and have done a few hours moonlighting doing :

Scaffolding.
Milkman.
Carpet fitting.
Rigging new yachts and ribs.

But more than welcome to give anyone a hand.
