Interesting.......... good old pusser, very generous with their stuff as I recall!!

Great for training too.

I used to be a submariner, started off in diesel subs, no washing for 3 months at a time, loved it (what does that say about me tho ) Got to be a PO, (RS), not that it did me much good tho.
Ended up in a multi forces bunch of renegades doing silly things with communication systems working all over the world doing realtime audio and video. Electronics is my main bag, I fit systems to all sorts of vessels, going back into audio systems as a contractor more and more now tho, analysing acoustics and providing solutions.

I'm also a yachtsman, have a Hartley 39 RORC offshore racer which I refitted from a shell. Now a long distance cruising vessel, coded. I also call it home. She's 15 tonnes, 39' long, and pure joy to sail, if a little wet occasionally

All the home comforts as well, generator, hot and cold water etc.....

If anyone wants to learn to sail, navigate etc, just shout! I can take you as far as yachtmaster.....
For the record, I've crossed the atlantic several times, both single handed and with crew, got around 18,000 nautical miles under my belt and really enjoy heavy weather.

I can also offer,
Audio equpment of any type, video/CCTV systems (IP rated), acoustic solutions, to vehicles as well as buildings, electronic navigational systems, chart plotters, memory map systems, GPS, inter vehicle comms systems, secure or not, TAC radio systems, personal comms gear..........
AC and DC monitoring, measurement, equipment, test gear, installation and commissioning.
DC control systems using PIC's,
I also service radar, sonar and radio comms systems...........
If anyone wants any specialist connectors, audio or RF, shout, I can find them trade or have them in stock.

Regards

Dave
