The Opel Manta GTE (B chassis) shared the same floor pan /platform as the Ascona B famous in its Rally Guise they were a brilliant chassis in the day.

The Opel GT 1969-1975 had transverse leaf on the front suspension with coil springs on the rear being a live solid axle arrangement with torsion bars. It had rack & pinion steering.
