Do not know about the 3.3 but my 2.8 is a mechanical pump as is yours if it has a cable, if so then the throttle arm will have two adjusting screws, one for idling and one for max speed, the idling one is the one that the throttle arm is resting on at rest, this is the one to adjust, undo the locking nut and turn it anti clock wise gently until the idle is where you want it, do not forget to nip the lock nut up again, there are other possibilities however that it would be best to check first, you may or may not have them depending on your setup, I am referring to the automatic rev increasing devices that are actuated by the power steering and air con, they could be stuck in the hi position, Rick
