Default What’s Everyone Doing This Weekend?

Well I’m currently waiting in for a new phone being delivered, thought it was about time I gave myself a treat. Plus it’s giving me a chance to recover from my week away in Devon.
Sunday I have a CT Scan booked at local hospital.

After that nothing else planned.

Thumbs up Some Tidying up in the Garage

My Garage is in need of some serious tidying up - started yesterday cleaning the SS Sink first. Took me almost an hour to remove items on draining board, put away or throw away.
Then using some 280 grit wet & dry removed all the old bits of paint and blobs of epoxy resin etc. Complete shine with Brillo Pads.

Not long finished work.
Quick bite to eat and a shower then off to visit my dad in Nottingham city hospital.
Tomorrow I will hopefully get all the welding finished on my mates bongo project.

Would be posh if I had hot water but only have cold !

Used to come in handy for washing my hands when I had been working on a motor. Also comes in handy for rinsing out filters etc from my aquariums & pond.

Could you not fit one of those old fashioned hot water heaters that sit on the wall at side of sinks?

Yesterday we travelled up from Norwich to Scarborough to meet pals who have travelled down from Lanarkshire. A yearly catchup and see a few sites. Scarborough castle today and then a couple of hours in the hotel swimming pool. Might take a drive to Whitby tomorrow before heading home.

I gave that some serious thought including a direct electric water heater, downside is they seem to scale up easily. Then you need an inline exchange filter - still might do it !

At this price might be worth a shot!!

Depends much on scale in your area, here in Bexhill we have no scale at all, I have to laugh at all the people that are sold scale filters etc, but not so far away in Sevenoaks by heck they have a scale problem, the easiest way to check is your kettle, if it has scale then yes but if not then no, Rick

Well my new phone arrived this morning and it was a dead easy job to setup and have to say I love it.
New phone took my mind off the scan tomorrow afternoon, then it’s a long wait for results.
Also got a job interview on Thursday, still working at same place but a slightly different job.
Blocky Whitby is a great place
