Default Club needs an injection of enthusiasm

Hi all I have been a member here since 2009, and find it a valued source of info not just about Nissan and 4 x 4 but abut everyday life, but I fear it is dying, so come on guys and girls what can we do to keep it alive, this is not just a forum but a family, we need realistic suggestions to keep it going, Rick

I hear what you are saying Rick.
Been said before a few times now.
The free Facebook group's are killing off the paid forums.
Not just this one that suffers lack of use and members not renewing their membership.

Exclamation What to do ?

I am not much of a Facebook user - just in a closed group of ex-coppers etc.
Have never visited the Facebook / Nissan /4x4 groups.
I thought we were just suffering from ageing demographics as the Terranos are getting long in the tooth.

I suspect many members & former members here have bought other makes of 4x4 could we not cater for other makes and become a more general 4x4 site or would this still have the issue of free v paid membership?

It has been getting steadily quieter and I do keep posting things just to help keep it alive but also keep us all in contact. As said Facebook unfortunately detracts from good friendly forums and unfortunately due to the ease of joining attracts many keyboard warriors ect. As far as this forum and any Facebook groups go this place is far superior with quality knowledge and a friendly nature.
I don’t know what the answer is other than we all keep posting to let people see it’s a lively place to be.

It says you joined 20-08-2008 over 11 years. Less for murder...

I think the forum has had its injection and it’s great to see the different subjects being posted, like having an old friend back and long may it last

I’ve just been on a Facebook group for another vehicle and somebody posted a photo of an error message on their dashboard.
There must of been about 8 unhelpful comments just making fun of his situation. One person stood up and replied stating this, just waiting for them to slag him off. That’s what Facebook is like, we may have banter but when someone needs help on here generally they get help. Say it all really doesn’t it, what a great place we are all members of.
