Did have to do a bit of structural welding, last time out at the wood came down particularly hard on the front off side, felt something "not normal" once home found the bump rubber inside the coil spring had come adrift, on closer inspection the mounting had disintegrated, a mixture of rust and aggressive off road driving, anyway a bit of 6mm plate sorted that out, inspector did point out the rear chassis is full of mud, I knew that but just did not have the time to address the problem, as my big genset recently caught fire, 1975 vintage so probably a wire lost some insulation some place, so urgently purchased a temporary Hyundai 5Kw item, it is OK but on trying the hoist it struggles, like if i stop a lift part way it will not restart, have to drop it onto the locks, then power the motor while holding the lowering lever, then gradually release it to continue raising it up, right pain, also got another alternator on its way but will have to adapt the mounting onto my 3 Cyl Lister as currently the item is designed to run off a tractor PTO, all fun days, Rick
