Default Recovering

Well looks like I’m recovering at last. My last spell in hospital when I didn’t realise just how ill that I was really took it out of me. Anyway I’d forgotten just what it feels like to feel ok, today I discovered how great it feels to feel ok.
I’m still on a long road to recovery and have pain along with symptoms but I think I’ve turned that corner. Have been for a short walk, 100 yd’s yesterday and today butnwas tired when I got back home. Still not driving and don’t intend to drive until I’m feeling a lot stronger.
Still got hospital appointments and regular CT scans, will be several years until I know for sure that I have beaten cancer but the aigns are looking good.

It’s now time to start enjoying what life has to offer, it was a very close call a couple of weeks ago.

Keep up the good work Jim, but don't rush it, it's very easy to set yourself back by trying to run before you can walk.

Not as well today but only to be expected. Back at hospital later for a check up so all will be fine.

Hopefully make it for a visit to Buxton but not making any promises at the moment.

Good work Jim

Keep up the walks, gently gently, you'll be fine. Don't rush things you know you're own body mate.

Really hope I get to see you at the meet

Cheers guys.

Was all positive news from the hospital appointment last week though tinged with a warning of a slim chance it could come back but very slim chance.

Yesterday didn’t have much energy but probably just needed to rest from rest of the week. I’m happy to have a day of rest to allow further improvement.

I’m now thinking of a way to raise money for MacMillan as a thank you for the care and support they have given and continue to give. Sometimes just a coffee and a chat when I visit hospital is very supportive, whilst I was in hospital had a visit or two from them.
