What’s people’s recommendations for Instant Gasket?

I used to have a tube of some blue stuff that was good but long since gone. I basically just want to smear a little on water pump gasket.

I got Loctite from my local motor factor... had it since I got my T2, and still using it. Just make sure I take the spout off, and replace the lid after use, and then when I come to re-use it, the stuff in the spout has gone hard, and just pushes out ready to re-use it.

I think you may be referring to Hylomar Blue. I have used it with good results

I have just a little over half a tube of Hylomar Blue if you want it Jim.
I've just found it in my sealant draw.
