Our old laptop has been in storage for 8 months, when I plugged her in it works okay but says battery has 17% charge but is not charging.
Its a Fujitsu Siemens anyone any idea as to the fix ? |

Have you tried it without the battery & just the power source to see if the power supply is working?

It’s likely to of killed the battery especially if it has been cold over winter.
As said try running without battery. You might get some kind of battery from eBay but you get what you pay for. |

Battery not chrging
Works fine on the power supply, makes no difference if the battery is in or out.
I guess it's just gone too flat to be recovered by the power supply. |
