Default Swb Terrano spotted

I'll be changing my car soon (not the Patrol) and thinking about what to get. I'm so used to seeing crossover after crossover and you forget what a proper 4x4 is as they don't really make them anymore

Anyway

Just passed a black lifted swb 3.0 Terrano and it looked fantastic. I forgot how good they looked

I need a proper 4x4 I think

I feel the same MrK, I would love to buy a Terrano and do a complete strip down nut n bolt restoration but you need the space and money to do that sort of thing.

Just been out driving in my project truck, my son has bought a complete tool kit in a roller cab trolley and box for the top. Took some fitting the roll cab in on it’s side but the Terrano just swallowed it all up and handled the weight. Just so good these trucks. I darent drive a trol because I know I would need one.

I have a Skoda Roomster and it’s a great car, comfortable practical loads of space but I get in and drive, I get in a Terrano and I really enjoy driving it. Probably sounds silly.

Our other car is SWMBO's little Renault Megane.......too low, too uncomfortable for my crocked knees and back.......just get in and drive, as you say.......

Now the 'Tractor'......... well thats different, and I really enjoy driving it......

We used to have a 05 plate Scenic, was quite nice but Reno quality. It was a similar seat height as the skoda so you sit on it as opposed to sitting down on to the seats if you know what I mean.

I prefer the simplicity of owning an older car that you don't have to worry about and can just jump in and dump anywhere if that makes sense.

I'm driving a car at the moment and I'm just missing an old school 4x4. I'm just more comfortable in it in the conditions the roads are in and traffic conditions we have now.
