Default "HELP" What is this

Cleaning out my Patrol i discovered this electrical box under the ashtray, can anyone tell me what it is.
I dont know if its something fitted by Nissan or if its been fitted by a previous owner

Have something looks a bit like that hanging down under my glovebox. Mine was for an old nokia handsfree phone that a previous owner must have had fitted. Don't know if yours is the same and I don't have the nissan with me to have a look.

low power micro wave non voice says ofcom, unfortunately rest is techno speak,
doesnt give examples of use. not on wiki that can find. so is it sensor for remote locking?

Its been suggested that it is for adjusting the sensitivity of the alarm, there is a knob on the back which can be turned + -

So much for the nokia handset theory. Good job there are people on here who know their stuff and that you know more than me. If that is a control unit for the door locks can remote locking be made more or less sensitive by adjusting the + or - on it?
