Working my way till friday, On the plus side though I found out the weekend that my 4wd does work as my wife borrowed the Mav, and went to a christmas thingy with the kids and had to park in a field. She got stuck, so called me to ask how you put into 4wd. I told her how to do it and she managed to drive out of the mud no problem.

you see you can see the bright side of anything if you look hard enough, I pretty much take each day as it comes all week as with animals etc. they are all the same. I must admit though this grey gloomy weather we have at the moment is a bit miserable dont you think?

I've just spent half the morning trying to sort out my daughters un-openable passenger door on her Peugeot 106 it seems neither of the handles work.

The only option looks like ripping off the interior trim to get to the mechanism, but it's going to wreck the door panel

Tomorrow I must get into town to get Lucy something for Christmas.... she wants a mini music system for the kitchen, this looks like it will do the job

Back to work for 3 days on Wednesday

Saturday I have 320 mile round trip to go and see a Mav......

this seams as good a place to post this as anywhere!

yesterday i had planned a morning in the house the kids were taking over feeding animlas etc so no work no driving around and a bit of a lie in!

well my wife has allways been an early riser and was having trouble slkeeping so she got up at 10 past 5 and to pass the time did a bit of dusting, well she was in the hall and noticed one of our mains powered interlinked smoke alarms needed a dust.

They are good saftey devices one goes off all go off, giving out 85db each, see here:

http://www.gwsupplies.co.uk/p/6016/a...thium+cell.htm

so she walked up a few steps reached out and gave it a spray of pledge and comenced polishing, I lept out of bed when all the alarms went off, and had to take this one from the ceiling to shut them up.

I have now also discovered they are pretty exspensive to replace :

so muc for a lie in! :?
