Hi mate and welcome, is it defo t30 specific or could it be generic, let us know what the problem is, we may be able to help anyway, Rick

Can you get to the pollen filter? If so can you remove filter and vac out, maybe make some kind of fitting for the vacuum hose.

As for the speed setting, is it likely to be the resistor? Got to admit when terrano resistor goes it takes out all speeds other than no four.

Cheers accident getting sorted ta.

At least the wd40 will disappear pretty quickly.

Is there a manual in the downloads section that will give you some ideas about the removal of the motor.

TBH it's not a job I would do myself sometimes it's best to get someone who has done it before to sort it.

If I was 18 years younger I would do it myself but these days I try to avoid horrible jobs and just pay someone to fix it.

It's sad but I stopped doing my own oil & filters on Diesel engines about two years ago after 50 years of always doing my own servicing. What with modern big under trays and that black oil getting everywhere plus disposing of the waste oil I just pay someone instead.

i used to use waste oil to coat my fencing every year and give my leftovers to a mate who had an oil burner in his workshop for heating. Wife is not too thrilled with the tell tail drips on our drive either.lol

God I do sound a bit Victor Meldrew !
