SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 Tekkie Help Needed

Desperate for any SUSE/Linux Experts

Have a really tricky issue at work that if I fix is going to earn me major major brownie points with the new boss, we've had ADT in all day trying to fix a server at a cost of £247 an hour as our old boss didn't put is into any sort of maintenance agreement.

It's taken him the best part of 5 hours today for him to decide he's going to trash our current config as he can't sort it.

I'm very very limited with my knowledge of linux but grasp the fundamentals and can easily cobble/learn the rest with some reading.

If we have any experts, please chirp up before I bother writing loads of tek gook to get no reply, there's a drink in it for you if you help me out

I'm hoping RayF clocks this, I'm sure he's a Linux man

Poor ol' Banshee.

I did Unix for a few years, which I believe is the sort of inspiration for Linux, but to be honest I couldn't even log on these days. So can't help I'm afraid my friend.

Well we did not know what the actual problem was or how you fixed it so I guess the old adage about a problem shared still applies ?
