Default Aguri dx20 dvr dash cam

Hi any one have any idea if this is good or crap, looks to be the bees knees but I do not know, Rick

Hi Rick.
I guess it all depends on what you want it for, if it's just as a dash cam then I would go for a nextbase, but if speed cameras are a concern to you as well then it looks like a good piece of kit. But even the cheap dashcams do a job

Sorry I don’t know the brand. I’ve been using Rexin as a brand for last couple of years but have found a floor with them and a lot of others. They use capacitors and not batteries to keep a little charge. They work fine if voltage is stable and not left for a long period without use.
Left my project car for a few weeks last year which killed the cap. Now when it turns on with ignition and then after few seconds you start, the current draw turns it off and on again same as your radio really confuses it and it fails to record and alsorts.
So find out if capacitor or battery.
