Default hi from cumbria

hi guys, the names paul, 42 married and i live in a small village just outside ulverston in cumbria,i have just sold my 94 maverick td and bought a late 96 terrano tdi se which is proving to be a great motor on and off road but really needs a good set of tyres first then i think i might go for manual locking hubs and so on  .this place looks great and i have already found out from the downloads section why my heater only blows on number 4 so well worth the tenner.
i am the first to admit that i have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever but if i ask i may learn from you guys.
thanks,
paul.

Hi devs & welcome to the club  as for the auto hubs I like them even thow i've had the odd prob with mine as I don't have to get out of the truck to unlock them : I also found after fitting AT tyre to mine it became better all round  We are hoping to get down to the Lakes this year to do a few of the lanes in that area & the Old Coach Road being one of them

Hi you will get your moneys worth here when you ask your first question..... and theres always an answer. Same year as my terrano but mine is a SR...no aircon. I now have my 4x4 sticker in the rear window so if you come up behind me it the kendal area give me a flash. ......bri

Welcome to the club.

Do you have decent knowledge of the legal off road routes up there?

hi,i did a few years ago when i worked for the lakeland village offroad driving centre but i think quite a few things will have changed since then and sadly the centre closed down so i have lost touch with most of the other instructors but will try and find out what the situation is like nowadays if i can.
thanks,
paul.
