Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

Two of the 4 IBC's in place, just need the other two which should be in the next few days, then a bit of plumbing and can then bring the new system into operation, and no the front is not supported on those two bits of particle board, behind them mare two 4 x 4 timbers, Rick

Rick, is that a rainwater harvesting system to use in your garage? As I am assuming that it is not potable water.

No it is potable, drawn from a spring and filtered, had it tested and it is lovely, Rick

Default What is the weight of water Rick ?

I assume there will be some cross bracing or is the wooden support temporary it looks like a lot of weight sitting on stilts as it is?

As you know a 1000 Litres of water weighs about 1.4 Tons!!

1000 ltrs of water at around 4 degrees Celsius weighs 1000kg.
The IBC weighs around 65KG so a fair way off 1.4 tons.
Of coures i work in metric

Rick, my bad. Does any sunlight get to those IBC’s? As the sunlight could transform the inside of an IBC into a green mess.

However, I am sure this is not your first rodeo and you are well aware of this issue in a clear tank.

And I have to agree with Makeitfit, I also have shed envy.
