bear in mind with all this, it all depends what you use it for! For example a gadget hungry modern touring caravan 80w plus (a generator would be better )

But didn't this thread start with the idea of maintaining charge in a car battery?

and I think the Maplin one would do that, but it seems a lot of hassle, if the car battery and alternator are up to scratch it shouldn't really need it anyway, should it?

all you need is:

1 alternator

1 hamster

1 hamster wheel

1 drive belt

bolt em all together anl it should work
