Hello!

been a few years but I am back. Left the club a long time ago due to various reasons including a change of car. Sold my Terrano to a friend who i think is a member on here (Pete), and bought an XTrail. The XTrail has been really fantastic to be honest, the only issues i have had are brakes which by all accounts is common. Goes through the calipers! Been a very reliable car and I still have it, but i bought back my old Terrano from Pete so here I am again!

Hope you are all well, im going to lurk about to see who is still here and who is new.

hiya Pete, Ive been meaning to ring you but works been stupid since i got back off holiday, will ring you next week

trucks great - bit smelly this week for some reason so Im going to fit a new cabin filter in case its that. Also my remote fob stopped working!

So when i got it off you, I was able to program the fob, no problems. Then that failed so I bought a used one off ebay, again programmed fine. That worked fine right up until today, and now i cant reprogram. Its odd because the one i bought was fully refurbed - new switches and tinned connections.

Other than that and the odd clunk its fantastic and oh my god that aircon really is bonkers i cant get over how cold it is

It's not a place you can give up easily is it?
I haven't done anything to mine for the last 12 months but still keep an eye on what's happening on here.
Welcome back

Smelly I changed the cabin filter a little over two years ago, I don't know what the time scale is, I guess it depends on a few factors.
Maybe it's that haddock I left under the seat

dunno yet, im going to get a new filter as the old one is a bit dirty (supposed to be changed yearly but its a forgotten service item). Not sure what the smell is, its odd, didnt smell before. Im going to look for leaks because it might be water getting in somewhere into carpet

Good point.
Give it the hose treatment

My sunroof leaked, so I Tiger Sealed it. I have a dislike of them anyway. I use its power supply for the reverse camera
