Except bro you don't do yourself any favours by putting the spots on and lighting up the countryside for miles

Shouldn't choose camp sites in the middle end of nowhere!!!! Need all the lighting that I can get to get to some of Elt's sites

That said, PaulTrol still hits the walls in the daylight

I didn't get the chance, my truck wasn't ready until Saturday afternoon and I had too much stuff to do on Sunday.
I might have another go this weekend, snow permitting. All the sites I've approached in Edale aren't interested in groups. So Elty proposed this site http://www.stadengrange.co.uk/ which should be able to accommodate, it's not quite the spot but close enough.

It's taken me long enough to get the Video up from our 2018 Wales meet!

Enjoy!

OK, so the site looks quite good.
It's split between electric hook ups (to the right in photo) and proper campers (to the left), but if possible will try and group us together in the hook up area.
There's a shower/toilet block and washing up facilities.
The only down side is that open wood fires are separate from the camping area, barbecues permitted tentside, but no spark producing wood fire near the tents.

Firepit corner

Obviously the good view is on the other side.

The small petting zoo is unlikely to be open before Easter, but the kids should be plenty busy with other stuff.

The weekend of 13/14th has been booked and you'll need the code 7449 when speaking to them and booking so that they know you're part of the same group. Give them a shout http://www.stadengrange.co.uk/ and tell them how many nights you're staying.

Other info is that town will be a short drive away as opposed to a walk as I know Rick like to sample the local restaurants.
Being near to Buxton, there's plenty of shops and petrol/diesel locally.
Camp site is easy to find fromthe sat nav given on the website.

I think that that's it for now.
