I'm getting a mig, fk arc, too much messing around and I have big plans now I've wet my whistle

that's the way to go, never looked back since getting a decent MIG, although I have 250 amp oil filled welder for really heavy jobs that welds all day at full amps but hardly use it now, my 190 MIG is good enough, this WE made a back boiler tank for my log burner out of 3 mm steel so I can heat the water as well, no problem, Rick

Cracking mate. Fitted a log burner for mrs mum And dad 2 yrs ago, looked into the back boiler ones, would love one myself, if u have access to combustible materials it's free heating and water.

i hate the new inverter based units...piss weak, the older one with a big fat transformer are better

Just had a parkray chevin 111 with back boiler fitted gave £130 on ebay endless supply of wood as i run a wood fired steam boiler and turbine at work

What does it mean at bottom where it says not suitable for domestic 240v supply ?

Yip, mine cuts out if you go for a long run over 120amps. Oil cooled are best but the oil is carcinogenic I think. David.

This one blows fuses if I crank it over about 110 amps I had to buy a pack of 20 to make my sliders

Someone said it needs a 16 amp fuse, dunno tho never looked in to it myself was thinking about bodging a 1/4 inch bolt in the plug

Rick __________________ Ex banger racer now off road maniac Lokka on the front with manual hubs Diff lock on rear 3 inch SS straight through exhaust Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch 10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole 20% stronger springs all round aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap. Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
