Question deleteing threads/posts

hi guys, now, i'm not complaining here, but i'm just wondering if there's a way to delete posts that you've put, eg, say i write a post and realised iv'e asked the same question twice or have made a complete balls up of spelling,

i know that there's 10 mins to edit any posts but what if it's seen after that 10 mins are up? do i need to contact a mod? also, if a thread is mis-spelled? how is this changed? as ive said i'm not complaining, just questioning

i'm not asking to modify anyone elses posts, just so the member can modify his/her own posts if they spot somthing they would like to change after 10 mins

cheers

I think it's just 'tough' or for the bad spellers 'tuff'

I think I saw somewhere that if you are the thread starter you can delete it at any time, but could be wrong here, Rick
