Thumbs up Great result !

Always a nice feeling - our Jeep WJ is booked in for Tuesday 14th January 2020 if it passes with no serious advisories then new tyres soon after so she is good for France again whilst Booze Cruises are still worthwhile.

Ironically I have been advised to avoid all Alcohol as it's not recommended if you have Heart Failure (HF). I saw the HF Specialist Nurse yesterday at Derby's old DRI building - she is making further tweaks to my medication - I see her again in two weeks time. A lovely lady (Based in Chesterfield) who has prescribed some extra meds and is seeking agreement with NHS Cardiology at Derby to make further changes. Good news is my heart efficiency has risen from 35% at the end of November to 41% in late December when last checked. BNP markers fairly steady at around 2100.

I have already started to reduce my alcohol consumption using Drink Aware phone App. I was for most of last Summer between 35-45 units a week (a figure that shocked me tbh) managed to maintain 20-25 units for November & December - a blip in December due to Christmas but aiming for less than 15 units a week by the end of this month. Have started substituting with low alcohol & alcohol free drinks all less than 0.5%. Some are better tasting than others.lol
