I've found it you have links in bold, then don't read them, when you come back later they are no longer in bold

The forum seems to have a thing where when ever you leave it, it marks everything as read, so as Paff says, when you come back in, there are lots of threads which although marked as read, have not been....to make things worse, if you use Tapatalk, when it checks for PM's, it also marks it all as read.

I did bring this up with Bat a good while ago, but did not clearly understand the answer and as I thought it was just me as had seen no other comments regarding, just forgot it, however it seems it is a valid problem, back to Bat, Rick

Me too I thought it was my PC, I start with a whole list of topics, read one then click on New Posts find I only got a couple left.
Clicking on home brings the missing ones back but they are all marked as read.

Yep I have also experienced this, av infact just though to myself until I saw this post.

On my ipad it seems to have happened fairly recently, for example,

I will read a thread, i may comment on it, regardless when I go back to the list of "new posts" the same threads still appear unread

Again just to clarify for me, it's only been like this for. Short while.

I normally just click on Home & it shows all the lastest threads but if i've not been on for a day or 2 I click the Forum bit & go through each section Don't use Tapatalk as on my laptop most of the time but find it just as easy on the tablet & TBH don't need an app which takes up a bit of memory to read the posts
