Default Gourgeous .....

Collected my Pedders springs from having a clean-up and powder coating at my local finishers. Top job and a perfect colour match to the shocks!
RAL 3001 for info.

Were they not red in the first place? (Or were they just looking a bit tired?)

Looking Good, I guess they were looking tired. I've just had the underside of my truck cleaned and undersealed it was probably looking like your springs were prior to refurb

Flaked chaps that’s all.

Before they go on, the underside of my Supababe will have the steam-clean and Dinitrol treatment too.
Getting it nice, black and rust protected on the underside before these cherry-red babies go on.

The new finish should last a while as these guys do loads of petro-chem stuff so the bare metal has had a good prepping.

Speaking to the chap that did mine, he said the Pedders had no primer under the coating, and the coating was thin.

Because springs obviously move and stretch, its normal for this company to add additional polymers to allow for this.

My springs have been shot blasted and zinc primed apparently.

My yellow Ironman springs flaked really early in their life to.
They looked crap so quickly.

Even better when they’re on I hope!
My work is getting in the way of fitting this lot.
Dinitrol first though.
