Default Ziehl-Abegg fan motor

As there are many trades on here, I just wonder if the title means anything to anyone that can help with a new motor it is an MK or AC106 or maybe it is an MK AC106 whatever I have a customer in desperate need, Rick

Lokka on the front with manual hubs
Diff lock on rear
3 inch SS straight through exhaust
Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch
10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

How old is the unit?
Fan technology has moved on a lot and it's possible that the fan you're looking for is not efficient enough and therefore not available.
What have the company said?
It's all abour ce motors these days.

Do not know the age, but company in the UK still shows them on line, and will be contacting them in the morning, but so often when dealing with these sort of firms, is that they will not deal with me but have to go through one of their dealers, which all adds time to the job, restaurant is closed till I get this fan going, the motor is currently with an old and valued electrical engineering firm in Hastings but he seemed doubtful when he saw it, he has rewound odd motors for me in the past so may yet come up trumps but am just trying to be one step ahead if he cannot, Rick

You did better than me in finding something on-line. If they don't sell direct, as you know, it'll be resellers and unless you get lucky with someone who's carrying stock. Again, you know all this.
I'd still be getting in touch with them, they'll tell you where the stock is and how long it'll take to get it to you.
I've worked for companies that sell direct and current company only uses resellers, nothing to lose calling them in the morning.

I have now managed 3 numbers for calling in the morrow, one is in Southampton we will see if they have stock, seems there are 9 sizes of this motor but the numbers on the stupid printed label are long gone, so just hope we can identify it on mechanical sizing and fan size, Rick

It is a commercial kitchen canopy extractor, this particular motor only is coming in at lots of money and 6 weeks lead time, so new off the shelf it is, at a fraction of the cost, Rick

I use them lots for grill bits etc, but doubt they will deal with big fan motors, it is a bit more specialised, Rick

I hope the fan and motor are kept well away from the air path.
