Other than the online for the UPS and the small white LED for the HDD activity on the DVR there won't be much blinking in there, no switches or servers I'm afraid as it's not for that type of thing.

It's mainly just there as a last line of defence from burglars if they do make it that far into my house, I don't intend to let them get an easy ride down the road with all my footage

Thumbs up Powerline Adapters

I had similar trouble with mine not pairing up unfortunately although they were okay in the house ring main circuits they would not work as far as my Garage - must be a combination of the distance from the house. Also I have a Consumer Unit in my Garage just too much resistance I guess.

I ended up hard wiring an Internet cable from house to garage as the Wifi will not give a good enough signal.
I used an old telephone conduit from house to garage put in by VM when i had a hard wired telephone out there in the days of dial up internet.lol

Another thing I found was that I could pair up the Powerline Adapters when they were next to each other in a socket then when done put the output one where I wanted it - saved a lot of time dashing between rooms and holding down buttons etc.

Nice set ups and well worth doing, but a word of caution with all of this. Please chaps and chapesses, make sure you are recording in compliance current GDPR and Data Protect Laws around CCTV or your well intentioned evidence gathering could fall foul and inadmissible as evidence when most needed.

Hopefully the gear you have had supplied came with some help and guidance on this on recording times, and data retention periods.

Just putting my profesional hat momentarily
