Unhappy No date for my Nephrectomy as yet.

Due to pressure on ICU beds my operation looks as though it is not now going to be before the end of October - waiting list is now such that it is going to be November or even early December.

I'm filing my waiting time with more work on the Honda - just done the clutch replacement - waiting for some new Seals & O rings. Another run of the engine then re-check compressions again. If all good then it's the full frame strip down process prior to powder coating.

Thumbs up Nephrectomy now done - feeling good all considered.!

They did the operation on the 25th November and removed my right kidney - went as planned keyhole. Well three keyholes two small ones plus a larger one to pull out the problem kidney.

Just 4 days in hospital had the clips out a couple of days ago - got to take it steady for 6 weeks follow up in around 6 weeks. I feel "Normal".

Am doing my own Urine self test - for the first time since 1st September no trace of blood showing so it's looking good. Just hope no spread into adjacent organs - time & testing will hopefully keep on top of that danger.

Thumbs up Can't wait until March 2st 2021 !

My post operative recovery has been good no wound infections - drove again on the 7th Jan 2021 as per advice.

Currently just got back to light housework - then on the 1st March I will continue work on my project Honda CB400/four restoration.

Next job is engine out to finish frame strip down prior to powder coating. Tbh its a bit cold in the garage anyway!

Just need to dodge Covid until I have the Jabs!

Well done Mac!!!!

Great that you are recovering nicely and glad you've got some jobs to keep you busy.

I'll be self-isolating from tomorrow as my partner has to have an operation on 25th Jan and we need to make sure she recovers well and doesn't catch anything
