New T2 came home today

Just thought I would let you all know collected the T2 from member PJM in Northampton today, do not know yet the state of the tin worm and will not have much time to look as my Patrol has developed an oil leak, it looks bad as oil even splashed onto the draw bar of the trailer, but on dipping it there is no noticeable drop in level, suspecting the crank pulley as these are a known problem but cannot really tell at this stage, Rick

Put the newly acquired T2 on the hoist today and found it is not worth doing all the welding and other work needed to get it through an MOT, shame but there you go, so it will become a donner motor, all parts available, Rick

Mate wanted the water pump as his was shagged, when he got it off I was amassed to see that there was no impeller it was eaten away to nothing, so now have condemned the engine as it must have overheated, not too much left of it now, back axle, all front axle components gone, just stuff like window regulators switches etc, oh and turbo and Bosch pump and related items, Rick

Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
