Thanks Blocky,
I have tried to find a forum that covers Terrano's, but found that some didn't. Thought I'd cough up and join as I'd like some info on a Terrano by next week when I have to say yes or no to buying it |

Thanks all...
The only thing I may tow is a small trailer, surely that will pull that |

I have a small trailer, in order to 'see' it I have fixed a length of plumbing pipe to the rear just long enough to see each end in the wing mirrors when the trailer is directly behind.
Makes backing up a bit easier |

That my friend is rather dumb statement.
If that wear true. you shouldn't tow with a manual either. just changing the dropper resistor so the transmission does not hesitate to change gears. this is why the Jatco transmission wear out and over heat. not from towing, but from the fact the change gears smoothly compared to other transmissions creating excess friction and wear on the bands in the transmission during the gear change proccess. Also a lock up solenoid switch for the torque converter does wonders. like driving a manual. |
