The heads are a weak point but the 3.0 isn't perfect either

Tell you though bro, you'll be lucky to find a swb 3.0 full stop let alone a late one before they stopped producing the swb Y61

Give you a laugh though, was having a look to see what was out there and found this, Y60 Safari lwb 4.2TD auto... various goodies including an ironman snorkel... which has been completely negated by fitting a cone filter to the turbo

Rob is right, I don't think they made a 3.0 swb late enough to have 'fixed' their issues. Not unless you import one but will be lhd.

However as I've said before, their are absolutely plenty of early model high mileage 3.0's out their, so its pot luck really, they cant be all that bad.
