Default Morning all

Just bought a 1993 SWB Terrano 2.7 turbo diesel for work, needing to drive down rutted farm tracks wasn't doing my vectra any good !
Thought I'd better find a website, as they've always been very useful with past vehicles (Bikes mainly) and this seems top be the one to join !
I'm of to the workshop forum now to see if I can find a solution to my problems without having to repeat old threads.

welcome to the club matey, hope you find the solution to your problems, but i wouldnt worry too much about digging up old threads, often I find everybody has different variations of the same problem!

Welcome to the club, this is certainly the best club for Terranos and Mavericks (Terranos in disguise) and other Nissan 4x4's you will find the downloads straight forward for use with standard tools and often great photographs.

When looking at past threads, and there are often many on the same subject, it does take some time, but you will realise that if you have an issue then there is probably a solution.
I have fixed problems that I never knew I had. (catch them early).
Preventative maintenece is often cheaper than cure.

These vehicles are very reliable, I have had mine nearly 16 years and with 2000 members there will be lots of ideas and solutions.

There are serious discussions on other related issues and 4x4 outings etc.
, and Briggie will be along with a few jokes no doubt. They do make me smile..

Enjoy the club.

Best regards,
Rustic

Thanks for the welcomes, got a few little things I need to sort out on the car/truck/van/suv. (Never know what to call it, can we call them suv's ? I hope not) .
Various noises, wobbles and odd habits, most of which I've not had before on my road cars.
Looks Like I'll have to spend a tenner if I need any tech help though. Not really my style, paying for stuff and all that, but if I can't sort the problems out myself I'll be back.
Off to cover my jeep (?) in vinyl to stop it getting scratched.
I've got orange, gold, or woodgrain effect. Hmmm.......

lol . cant see how anyone can begrudge paying a tenner for all the info available on here ........ I just fitted the front ball hitch attachment from plans available from this club ...... 130 quid from towbar company .. cost me nothing ..... all my mates are impressed with its efficacy for manoevrability

I begrudge paying anything for anything. I'll have to flog some of the junk in me shed.

Just got a brand new tyre on the rim for £1.04 off fleabay.

What a rip off.

Right, managed to get me wallet open and paid me tenner ! Got a couple of hours free near Newmarket yesterday so I took it to wildtracks. What a giggle .
Knocked the back bumper off a bit and busted a tyre but apart from that ....
Had the missus with me (screaming in the back seat) and me 10 yr old son in the front laughing his tits off. Well worth 20 quid I reckon.
Glad I bought that tyre the other day, even gladder the workshop there leant me their trolley jack. That screw thing that came with the car is bloody useless !
Off to ebay now to find a lift kit, and another tyre !
