And here it is.

I allready went for a little drive to try the machine.
But with slick tyres and lots of rain, can't do much...

Some pictures:

Now let's talk about some problems and parts.

First and more important: when the engine is hot, after i lift the throttle the engine almost stalls. From what i read here i could be: vacuum hoses, EGR or the screw near the filter box. In what sequence should i check and test?

Second: Tyres and rims to install? (i can only use 235/75 R15).

Third: Easy mods to improve performance and avoid problems, such as:
- Blank the EGR
- Reinforce the idler steering

* Number 7 here:

Parts i'm searching:
- Glovebox "latch", i can't open the glovebox... still don't know if i have anything in there!!!
- Air vents, both side and maybe the central too
- The plastics around the door handle in both sides
- window wipers stalk

Point me the way if you know where i can find them.

That's all for now.

Thanks.

Looking well nice is that truck. Look for a seller on ebay that breaks Terranos called CNCfabs, drop him an email and tell him we sent you. You may also find one or two members on here may come forward if they have the parts.

How are you going to strengthen the the steering idler?, I got hold of another steering box and cut the internals out, flippedmit round and bolted on with extra long bolts and spacers, a few people on here have done that. If you can find a rhd one though it would fit easier for you

Wow!!!!! What a smart looking truck

I would always recommend a 2.7 but I've still yet to drive a 2.4 Petrol, as you already know, Rick (solarman) is the man with those beasts

I look forward to your project thread and also look forward to learning more about the 2.4 as we go

BTW, I have a lovely genuine Nissan rubber mat for the shelf on the passengers side dashboard

I know lots on here do the steering box mod on the idler but unless you are going massive oversize tyres and rock climbing I have never felt the need, and have and do some serious off road stuff, re the stalling you need to check all the multitude of vac hoses near the throttle body, many will be past their sell by date, and yes do the EGR blank plate job, I have yet to find an EGR valve that was not passing, ie I could suck through it no problem, best way is a thin sheet of metal (tin can cut out) just the width of the two EGR bolts to the left of the inlet manifold, a pig to get to but well worth it, Rick

Well, sorry for the lack of feedback on the last couple of days, but now i have lots to tell.
The last week my free time was dedicated to the Terrano.

Jobs done:
- Replaced left side air vent
- Replaced the lock from the glovebox
- Replaced the light on the roof
- Replaced the fog lights for a LED light bar
- Serviced the engine (air filter, oil filter, petrol filter, sparkplugs)
- Replaced the front brake pads
- Bleed the brakes
- Replaced the AT 215/80 for a used set of BFG MT 235/75
- Regulated the hot idle thingy (now it idle ok when hot) using the "instructions" i found here
- Instaled the steering idler brace
- Welded the exhaust back box
- Replaced both outside cv boots on the front drive shafts

And the most important, i cleaned the garage and now the Terrano fits. Wife not to happy, some stuff had to leave!!!

solarman216, i friend as a Terrano 1 and in the first drive offroad we did, we bent the steering idler. He has 235 AT tyres. So, better safe then sorry.

Everybody like pictures right? Here are some.

Drive shafts, before and after:

Light bar installed and tested:

Without light bar:

With light bar:

Steering idler brace:

New front pads:

New tyres in:

The inside all pretty:
