Exploring The Local Area...

After last weeks heavy snow, and finding myself on some of the smaller Farm roads that that join the Farms to each other and their local Pubs... I decided today to explore them with the young un!

Non of these roads were Green Lanes or anything, just some small roads used only by locals... Some even less than that!

This one looks like something from 'The Walking Dead' !!

Some of the roads still had snow drifts to contend with.

(Thought I'd taken a picture, but obviously forgot!)

I even found a ford to cross... Didn't even have a clue that that road existed!

Now I have some interesting ways to drive home!

After that, we decided to stop by a local Farmers cow sheds and have our picnic!

All in, had a great afternoon getting out and about no further than 5 miles from my house!

Nice one matey

Lovely little setup you've got there and certainly seems to keep the nipper entertained.

Have you noticed that he's naturally intuitive to that kind of stuff now, like trucks and mechanical things in general with all the toys and gadgets you have or does he prefer to do other stuff when he's left to his own devices

Yeah, he loves the Truck and often compares it to other vehicles on the road. (No matter the vehicle, the Patrol is always bigger in his mind!

)

He definitely loves the outdoor lifestyle, and adores being on the farm. Made all the better if we have to drive thru a river or a snow drift to get there! (Definitely gets that from me!

)

He also does have a curious mind when it come to taking things apart... Although he's not quite at the stage of putting it all back together!

He's also itching for the summer to come back because he can't wait t get on the Power Tool and do more work to 'Fort Freddy'
