Thumbs up Just Passing.............

Was on the way to work this morn and passed through Barry on the way to St Athan to drop a parcel off at a UPS drop off shop (few and far between in sheep land)

As I pulled up to use my phone to get directions for the nearest one, I spotted this tool of a Maverick parked up

The owner was also the owner of the tyre garage and spotted me grabbing a snap, he was happy to come over and chat and he showed me the interior

£2500 he said that set him back!!! Not sure I would have parted with that.

He the proceeded to show me a SWB 3.0 that he has up for sale

Anyone interested? He wants £900 and wont move a penny, I checked it over and it looked bloody solid and someone has Waxoyled it before too, starts and goes, interior was very clean but sadly half black half beige with beige seats

Agreed

I didn't want to upset him, he was a big tyre fitter lad, he'd have hurt me

I've never seen the terry bits on a mav before, I wonder if the rear lights went straight on.

I've never seen one, would have though it more a coast guard truck really.

Oh there's nothing wrong with the 3.0, I just prefer the 2.7 as there's less to go wrong lol. I drove one a few years back but it was a little poorly
