William, from the records I received from the previous owner, your membership was due for renewal on the 1st April 2009. As you didn't renew your membership you went Red as you say.

As I said in my post:-

Ernie only had a join date as he was a moderator and moderators did not pay membership fees as a reward for being committed to the club and for the work they did,
Mind you saying that a lot of ordinary members never paid a membership.

Looking in from the ouside at the old farts chatting.

if like you say he was a Mod and got subs for nowt , then I presume as soon as he was no longer a mod then subs became instantly due and he turned red , thats how most sites work.

TBH I cant believe after this long its still being talked about , tell ya what if you that f hard up or it such a major issue i will pay it meself , then we can all go back to being happy.
