i think we ought to leave it, 2000 members endless visitors and one complaint like this, it speaks for itself

But in a way i agree, now then rip off banks billions a year in profits i'm not having my mortgagee with them!

mobile phone companies, rip off profit mungers i'm not having a phone

power companies etc. etc

Even if the forum does make some profit, since when has that been a crime? good service at a fair price is what we all want, right?

anyway the £10 fee obviously keeps the riff raff out

Spencer,

Less than 1 in 4 are paid up members and some of the 'paid up' members don't pay the server that the site resides on isn't free either.

As this isn't my day job, 40% of any 'profit' goes to the tax man and another 8% for National Insurance.... not looking so rosie now is it

Don't let the door hit you on the way out there's a good chap

Well from past comments about membership numbers we all know the truth. I have to say though even if vast amounts of profit was being made it doesn't mean that the membership don't get anything out of their membership fees. I bet there's nobody on here who hasn't had their fees back several times over in money saved. If nearly 2000 people are happy to pay a tenner then that would also say something positive too? Trouble is there is too much info available to people but it's the first comments I've seen like this in over six years of membership. So out of the thousands of people who have visited in those six years he's the first person to moan. That says enough to me.

Now can we get on with life.

I love the most recent comments, I wish I had a way with words like that!

as for my creative insult...I have no idea!! but a Humazee is a cross bread human and chimp, I know that much! so I must have meant some sort of freak perhaps...a touch over the top but i like to keep my insults and anger humorous!

i strongly suspect that either ... the person has a gripe with the group or one person in particular , or .... is a member of another site/group, otherwise why post a defamatory comment like that so that any prospective member can see ? ....as for my offer of paying membership fees , it was intended for those new members who cannot afford £10

yeah but regardless of motive, his comments make no sense at all. anyone with intelligence will see that its a very stupid, poorly thought out and negative thing to say, and pointless.
