Sorry, I was crap at maths at skool, but 1,999 x £10.00 = £19,990.00...not £20,000.00....look after the pounds, the pennies look after themselves!!

In conclusion....doh

Default paying for membership

I have paid my membership for 2 years now and I intend to continue to pay as long as the forum is alive and kicking.

Excellent forum and great people that take part in putting up threads

I also partly agree with Briggie that non members have limited access and the area that they are allowed to post in is moderated heavily

paulp

PS I agree what a w@nker spencerwilliamson is.

BAT21 you have no cause to explain the finacial side of the forum if any body disagrees with the way things are run - bugger off!!!!!

Weel i've been here quite a while as the writing under my avatar shows, and if i were offered back double what i have paid over the years to leave i would refuse it and stay. Most of the time I have been a member i haven't even owned a nissan! I have tried other forums even for cars i have owned and other interests and not stuck with any of them, but this one keeps calling me back. I think the £10 is not just worth while, but a sign of comitment on behalf of the members!

Default important point

the point i was trying to make , is that the original post is visible to all visitors ,if you sign out and then visit the " home page " .... the original post is viewable to all visitors.... it doesnt exactly instill the visitor or any potential members with confidence on joining our great community..... surely non members should not be allowed to post , or if they do , then any post should be vetted .

just my view folks ,it is actually harmfull to the community as it dissuades people from joining .

Was this the reason why originally we didn't allow people to post unless they were paid up members?

He could be from another 4x4 site, good luck to him
agree 100%
