Question Terranos whats a practical limit ?

A friend of mine is interested in owning a Terrano and wants to know what the limits are in terms of Body Lifts tweaking the torsion bars - how far can you go & Maximum Wheel diameters ?

Not sure if he is serious or daydreaming. I have advised him to buy one that's been done and just needs tidying up in a few places as it's probably an expensive exercise leaving you with few buyers when it's time to sell.

2 inches on the suspension and 2 inches on the body lift and 31 inch tyres are the most practical.
Even at that you will start to wear out upper wishbone ball joints quicker and risk doing CVS if driving hard off road.
Body lift kits are available from xpajan or vitmods.
Vitmods also do the rear spring spacers and Jimnybits do full suspension kits with springs and shocks.
A spacer suspension lift is very cheap and fairly easy but the torsion bars may need the adjusters removing and moving round a couple of splines on the torsion bars to get the front end to the right height.
