Default Which FREE Anti Virus

Hi guys, I’ve not used a free version anti virus for years but now my old company has gone bust access to a free license went too.

So I now find myself hunting a freebie down, I know in the past I’ve used AVG and Avast but no idea what these are like nowadays.

Cheers

I use Bitdefender too. I have found it excellent so far. Avast and AVG are still good bar the ads/nags to get a paid subscription.

What operating system are you running ?

I use F-Secure as its tied in with Virgin Media. First year was free now its £25 for up to 5 devices. I only have 3 but our phones are not really modern enough for online stuff.

Not much use but on windows, android etc I use Norton. Tried lots of free ones and didn't like them so quite happy to pay a few quid. I normally use a Mac though so no need for it.

Yes, my contract Hauwei (how you pronounce it is beyond me, but a good phone) became very laggy.....turns out I had loaded avast anti virus and ccleaner and they are nowdays unnecessary, as most phones have them built in.....uninstalled and fast as anything now....

I have never had any luck with the free ones, so have been with Bullguard for the last 11 years...

We normally buy 3 years at a time for up to 5 PC's/Mac's and 1 free mobile device for £70.

I am very pleased with them, not being mainstream, they are less prone to being deliberately attacked by virus makers trying to get round them.

I did send you a PM about the housing, yes, it is all fitted, and I think it is a bit better. I need to run the car a bit to tell... I fitted it, drove to the Great Dorset Steam Fair, left the car sitting in a field for 10 days, then drove home.

By the way, I checked and there is a one way valve. I just need to check the old one, and see if that was working or not.
