Ok thatís great I appreciate it Iím in no rush just get better I have a bad back also doesnít give me much trouble anymore I usually lift something really heavy like a washing machine or something and it stops it from hurting oddly
Just no idea where gears are or 4wd system lol

Just a bit of progress today just need to do the arch where the filler neck is and a small hole in the engine bay arch and its time for under seal and I think Iím going to do all 3 belts and it sounds like possibly needs a injector then time to turn it into a mini off road camper for trekking through Scotland

well been busy with work so not had much time managed to get the other arch welded up and have started to insulate the floor. I will hopefully manage to get more done at the weekend

Yea ended up using 3mm plate welding the full length around and both arches but it all turned out pretty good. A lot easier because Iím not keeping any of the seats in if I was it would of been a lot harder as the seat belt mounting points were knackered

Unfortunately Iíve been ill recently so havenít kept up to your thread. Well done this is a credit to you, it would of been so easy to just bin the truck. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your progress.

Well managed to get the piano hinge on the storage compartment just one last bit left and itís ready to use just need some black carpet and something good to stick it with so it never comes off. As most may of guessed Iím not much of a talker I just like pictures to explain most of what Iím doing

Me too haha Iím kind of rushing it a bit as Iíve got a busy week at work and weíre away camping on Friday so needs to be useable I wonít have chance to do the carpet but it should still function well.
Iím planning on making something to go on the back door too not sure how at the min. Also has anyone done anything so you can open the back door from the inside.

I think that was another Nissan cost cutting exercise, as my 1999 one has the ability to open the door from the inside, and also to lock the door from the inside as well, where as Suz's 2001 doesn't have it.

I have never looked, but maybe the lever is still on the lock to do it.

I think Jim has investigated this and the mechanism is still there, just needs digging out and a new way of operating to be sorted out.

Which one of these fits mine??

Iíve took the door card off and I can reach in and open it from the inside but itís not exactly easy I will take pictures tomorrow to show you what I mean.
