Ok. So we've narrowed it down to 2nd Sept so far, with some sweet talking

Just had a thought. The 2nd is JUST before most schools go back, anyone with children may be reluctant to get involved that weekend, PLUS, I suspect traffic across the country will be pretty bad for the same reason. Would end of Sept be more suitable once things have calmed down a bit?

These are the Saturdays that I'm likely to be working, but with enough notice can cancel.

I'll need at least 1 week's notice so I can arrange cover.

Default Maybe a poll?

Just had a thought...

...when Zippy was mucking about and pretending to leave he put up a poll.

Would it be a good idea to put up poll with a selection of weekends/days, maybe four (ish), and take a poll of which would suit members best, and then we go with the most popular?
We could spend the next year bandying days back and forth, just thought this could push the matter forward.

Slightly off topic... ...Zippy could you resend me the members map?

Feedback from SWMBO, 2nd or 3rd Sept NOT an option. She said something about hospitalisation, I know I can outrun her, but if she creeps up behind me I'm f*****!

The 2nd and/or 3rd Sept seems to be favourable atm. Apologies to emjaybee but thinking about it, there must be a hospital close by

There's also no reason why we can't arrange another meet a month or 2 later. It's not a once only thing. We need to pull fingers out, as a group, and have regular meets. We all seem to get on, don't we?, and you never know what's around the corner.
I'm shite at motivational speeches

Therefore, folks available for 2/3 Sept.

Well said Ian

That first weekend in September is fine for me.

Also gives us with 3 litres to show the rest the error of their ways
