Hello Mundy, Sorry for late reply, Just got in from work.

The 2.4 engine gulps petrol and i don’t think it would suit anyone that wants a motor for around town, but saying that it fly’s, i get about 20 /23 to the gallon, very poor and its not as if i boot it.

Pulling power is down from what i make of the diesel engine and i certainly know when i have the van on the back as i don’t get into top gear but if you want to nip in and out and be able to overtake then brilliant.

The bar came from 4x4tyresandaccessories Leeming bar about three years ago and was around £400.

Funny you know i purchased it from an auction after going to buy a disco that I had seen,
Just don’t know how lucky i was, So impressed with my motor, Last Monday it sailed though its 6th MOT with no problems or warnings what so ever,

What other vehicle would give you that?.

Just think a could have been a moderator for some Land Rover site somewhere, That was lucky too.

Hope that helps and if there’s anything else you want to know please ask.

Regards,

Mav.

Yours looks very good must say, 23mpg not too bad in my opinion, I don't use my car much now due to work van, I've seen a N reg 2.4 T2 LWB with 65,000miles, looks very nice and would look even better with chrome bull bars, side steps and chrome roof bars 8) if only could sell the mondeo

My dads mate says same about towing caravan with one, knocks the mpg down a bit :

whats mileage on your one?

Hello again,

Just clocked 105,500 only doing 2,500 per year as i walk to work and Wife does not drive.

When clean i think i have a tidy motor but takes some doing as there is a lot of car to look after and keep tidy.
