Default Navara

Evening all looking at getting back in to the mudding again so I'm looking a Navara as a project during the winter

I know the chassis are weak and snap but what other things do I need to look at as I'm probably going to bobtail it anyway

Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch
10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

As you’ve mentioned chassis but also Service History as well as DPF if it has one fitted. The curse of modern diesels is that dam thing.

I hate dpf and egr with a passion as the amount I would see because no one knew how to drive them properly
